Description:


This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the 47th Force Support Squadron, located at Outdoor Recreation, Laughlin AFB, Del Rio, Texas.

This position is Regular Part Time (RPT), guaranteed 20 hours a week with potential to a maximum of 40 hours per week. You may be required to work nights, weekends and holidays. RPT employees are eligible to earn annual and sick leave as well as benefits including Health/Dental and Life Insurance, 401k and Retirement.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:
Must possess experience in planning, organizing, conducting and evaluating outdoor adventure programs or other practical experience which has provided a working familiarity and knowledge of the procedures and programs followed in group activities of a recreation program. Must possess skill in dealing with public. Must be able to work being exposed to a variety of cold or hot weather. Must possess the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle with attached trailer. Must possess a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record with no major violations.
