About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation Field House pool at Offutt AFB.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Conditions of Employment: Must have knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of aquatic program management. Must have knowledge gained through relevant experience which enables the employee to competently and independently carry out continuing aquatics projects and programs. Must have and maintain an approved and current nationally recognized certificate for the type of activity and skill levels they are instructing, e.g... swimming, aquatic exercise. Must have nationally recognized certification in lifesaving and water rescue methods and skills, as well as basic first aid training, and CPR (both child and adult) training. Must have experience which provides practical knowledge of instructional and developmental teaching methods swimming activities, rules and procedures and skill in the use and maintenance of various pool and safety equipment is desirable. Satisfactory completion of installation records checks, state and national criminal background checks may be required for positions that provide lifesaving duties for children. Successful completion and favorable adjudication of applicable background investigation (Tier 1 Level) is required.
