About the Position: Independently manages/directs the District's Real Estate Program. Plans, directs, administers, and correlates various projects and programs through subordinate branch and field project office(s). Major functions managed are Outgrant Management, Acquisition, Management and Disposal, Real Property Accountability, Local Flood Protection Program, Continuing Authorities Program, Appraisal, Relocations and Realty Technical Services.

Specialized Experience One year of Specialized experience is defined as managing real estate functions, including acquisition, disposal, property management, and relocations; applying federal and DoD real estate policies, coordinating agreements, and ensuring regulatory compliance; resolving real estate issues, support program planning, and collaborate with stakeholders; overseeing projects, managing resources, and providing guidance to staff; communicating policy interpretation and contract negotiations; and managing/supervising personnel, hiring, training, evaluations, and compliance. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
