Description:

This position is part of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, Office of Foreign Policy. As the Vice President, Office of Foreign Policy, you will be responsible for leading the Office of Foreign Policy and serving as the principal foreign policy advisor to DFC leadership.

You may qualify at the SL-00 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirements:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Candidates must have at least one year of specialized experience related to this position. This experience must be at or above the GS-15 grade level or equivalent. Your resume must reflect experience: 1) serving as a key liaison/agency representative with the interagency and foreign governments, to advance U.S. Government foreign policy initiatives on political, economic, and/or national security issues; 2) supervising a team of foreign policy experts; and 3) briefing/working closely with Front Office leadership.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
