In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Must have experience which has provided a general working familiarity with the routines and procedures followed in group activities and programs; and practical knowledge and/or experience of recreational activities and equipment, rules, and procedures in a recreation program. Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, exposed to a variety of cold and hot weather. Handle objects weighing up to 40 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Must possess or be able to obtain an approved First Aid & C.P.R certification within the first 30 days of employment. Maintain a valid drivers' license and satisfactory driving record with no major violations due to own negligence. Availability to work uncommon work schedule which includes weekends and holidays
