Description:

The typical seasonal period is April through June but can be variable during these months due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Anticipated Entry on Duty: April-May 2026.

Requirements:

To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:
  1. Have the ability to do the work of a Maintenance Worker WG-4749-6 without more than normal supervision (SCREEN OUT)
  2. Work history demonstrates experience in the following building trades: performing rough to semi-finish carpentry tasks to repair government quarters, maintenance buildings, and comfort stations.
  3. Preparing surfaces for painting by sanding, scraping and wire brushing. Thinning, stirring and mixing and applying various paints and coating materials.
  4. Performing masonry/cement work such as builds wooden forms, mixes and pours concrete for such items as sidewalks, floors, pads, and retaining walls.
