Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Assisting with general surgery procedures such as orthopedic, obstetric or gynecologic, vascular, reconstructive, urology, neurosurgery, and trauma type procedures; 2) Assisting with the assembly of surgical equipment and instruments; and 3) Preparing supplies based on specific surgical procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
