You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER in the SHIP AND FIRE SAFETY DIVISION, OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.Requirements:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:* Experience managing non-radiological emergency management and casualty preparedness programs.
* Experience with federal and state requirements governing casualty preparedness such as the National Response Framework, National Contingency Plan, Code of Federal Regulations for Shipyard Industry Standards (Title 29 CFR Part 1915), OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response regulations, and EPA regulations.
* Experience developing and formulating solutions to a variety of complex engineering problems.
* Experience working with Incident Command System (ICS), National Incident Management System (NIMS), Navy, state and local emergency programs and procedures.
