This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Protective Service, Springfield, Virginia.Requirements:
Specialized Experience:GS-13: Applicant must demonstrate one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-12 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing the following duties:
- Coordinating cyber-related planning or operational activities with internal organizations or external partners to support cybersecurity or facility-related missions; and
- Developing cyber-related plans, policies, procedures, or strategies using established planning processes; and
- Applying cybersecurity concepts, principles, or risk management frameworks to support cyber operations, assessments, or initiatives; and
- Evaluating the effectiveness or outcomes of cyber programs or initiatives to determine whether objectives are being met.
NOTE: Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet this requirement, otherwise you will be found ineligible.
Certifications: Certifications addressing security and risk management, asset security, security engineering, communications and network security, identity and access management, security assessment and testing, security operations, and software development security may be beneficial to enhancing the performance of the position's duties.
