Description:

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENGINEER in the Platform Protection & Countermeasures Technologies Division (WXR), Surface Offboard Countermeasures Engineering Branch (WXRW), Leed Engineering Section (soon to be retitled as the "Expendables Decoys Section") (WXRWM) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-04 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 and GS-13.

Requirements:

In addition to basic education requirements, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower band, ND-03 (GS-09/11 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer, identifying and leading development of solutions to supply chain problems (e.g. logistics, in-service-engineering, fleet support) found during design, fielding, production, or sustainment of electronic warfare or decoy systems for improved sustainment of countermeasure system programs.
