As a Supervisory Immigration Officer , you will safeguard the integrity of the nation's lawful immigration system by leading agency efforts to combat fraud, detect national security and public safety threats, and maximize law enforcement and Intelligence Community partnerships.

Requirements:

The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 01/09/2026.

Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 01/09/2026.
GS-14 : You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:

• Providing comprehensive technical oversight and operational guidance to staff who carry out screening activities, including against law enforcement or intelligence data sources, or who investigate immigration benefit requests.
• Implementing and monitoring national security or public safety program goals, to suggest corrective action in response to identified trends in national security or public safety or changes in immigration-related legislation and policies.
• Leading teams in addressing immigration policy and procedural issues that strengthen national security or public safety.
• Fostering relationships with government officials from law enforcement agencies or Intelligence Community partners to support national security, public safety, or immigration programs.
