Description:

This front-line supervisory position, Case Processing Supervisor, Operations Branch, is located in the Probate Division at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. The incumbent is responsible for providing supervision, oversight, case processing management, and quality review of branch functions and employee work, in compliance with applicable Court rules and policies, and Division business processes and standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

A high school diploma/GED and at least six (6) years of clerical and/or administrative experience in a court and/or legal environment, and one (1) year of experience as a supervisor. Attention to detail and time management are required.

Successful completion of the Courts' Management Training Program counts as one year of supervisory experience.

A bachelor’s degree in legal studies, business administration, public administration, human resources administration, or a closely related field; two (2) or more years of supervisory experience is preferred.

Education Substitution:

An associate's degree and at least four (4) years of clerical and/or administrative experience in court and/or legal environment and one (1) year as a supervisor. Successful completion of the Court's management training program counts as one year of supervisory experience.
