FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Description:

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the ACCOUNTING DIVISION, COMPTROLLER DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Requirements:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

• Experience working with various policies, precedents, regulations, and guidelines of a functional area such as financial oversight, budget formulation, and/or budget execution.
• Experience applying functions, goals, objectives, work processes, and funding sources sufficient to related needs and accomplishments to anticipated or actual dollar figures.
• Experience working independently and carrying out assignments in conformance with accepted accounting, budget, or financial practices adhering to instructions, policies, and guidelines.
• Experience analyzing and evaluating changes in program plans, funding and/or budgetary relationships.
