FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST, Position Description Number T5636P01 and is part of the KS 190 Air Refueling Wing, National Guard.

Requirements:

GENERAL EXPERIENCE : Must have the general knowledge, skills, and abilities for the following:

• collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately;
• applying procedures and directives by reading and interpreting program material;
• presenting formal training presentations and briefings;
• Ability to prepare reports and presentation formats.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : Must have fundamental working experiences with a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade to include substantial coordination and analysis to resolve a broad range of pay, entitlement, budget analysis, accounting, and auditing issues. Must be able to independently carry out numerous different and unrelated processes, procedures, or methods, and identify areas of deficiency, potential problem areas, duplication of accounting efforts, etc. All personnel must be certified at the next higher level before being eligible for that level.


ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position IAW the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, Section 1599d. Incumbent shall comply with the requirements of this certification program.
