Communications personnel at the National Security Agency (NSA) empower the organization by delivering timely, effective, and tailored communications that inform, educate, and inspire, such as developing state-of-the-art intranet websites and applications, performing live event closed captioning, designing logos, publishing reports, and maintaining and safeguarding records.

The qualifications listed are the minimum requirements to be considered for the position.Degree must be in Media Arts, Film, Photography, or related creative field (for example, Videography; Cinematography; Film Studies; 2D or 3D Animation; Industrial Design; Digital Video Production; Radio, Television, and Film; Sound Design; Broadcasting; or Gaming Design).
Relevant experience must include one or more of the following areas: videography, photography, broadcasting & streaming, audio, sound design, and 2D/3D animation.
ENTRY/DEVELOPMENTAL
Entry is with a high school diploma or GED plus 4 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree and no experience.
FULL PERFORMANCE
Entry is with a high school diploma or GED plus 7 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree and no experience.
