This vacancy is for a GS-2210-12, IT Cybersecurity Specialist (PLCYPLN-INFOSEC) located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, in Kearneysville, West Virginia.
Requirements:
To qualify at the GS- 12 grade level, applicants must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS- 11 grade level in the federal or private sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.

Specialized experience must include the following:
- Monitor IT systems and services for performance and availability; and
- Troubleshoot incidents and issues to restore outages and technical capabilities; and
- Install, upgrade, manage, control, deploy, and maintain software systems or services, to meet operational needs, service levels, and security requirements; and
- Collect data for measurement, generate reports, and analysis of data to evaluate health of IT services; and
- Plan/Execute budgets and develop technical requirements for applicable IT contract documents.
In addition to meeting the specialized experience requirement, you must also have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.
