You will serve as an Accountant (Staffing) in the Financial Operations Division of NAVAL SUPPLY SYSTEMS COMMAND.Requirements:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized financial management analyst experience equivalent to the GS - 11 grade level in the Federal Service or equivalent demonstrating knowledge and skill applying principles, concepts and practices to perform assignments concerning financial management and budget. Specific work experience must demonstrate duties such as the following: 1) Utilizing automated financial systems to extract, interpret, and analyze financial reports and statistical data; 2) Analyzing and interpreting financial data from multiple financial systems to identify issues and determine trends; 3) Evaluating and identifying accounting system deficiencies, policy issues, training needs and problems to take care or recommend corrective action; and 4) Advising or assisting management on account and financial matters.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series
