This position is located in the Community Recreation Branch, Recreation Division, Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Department, Naval Station Great Lakes.Requirements:

- Experience in repairs of a wide variety of equipment.
- Must have knowledge in boat handling, use of cutting equipment, bike repairs, and engine repairs.
- Must have a license to operate a 6K forklift.
- Must be organized and capable of establishing regular cycle for equipment preventative maintenance.
- Must be able to learn MWR policies, rules, and regulations, involving the Community Recreation program.
- Must have ability to communicate orally and in writing.
- Successful completion of a national Agency check is required.
- Employee is required to have a valid state drivers' license.
- Position may require irregular working hours.
- Obtain Emergency First Responder or CPR Certification, Food Handlers, and C.A.R.E. training where applicable within the first 90 days of employment.
