Marine Transportation Specialist

Description:

You will serve as a Marine Transportation Specialist in the MSCREP PEARL HARBOR of MSCREP PEARL HARBOR.

Requirements:

Your r esume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

• Experience working with Combat Logistics Force (CLF) operations, dry cargo and liquid cargo operations, and special mission and prepositioning operations as the situation dictates.
• Experience with regulatory and operational guidelines appropriate to ship and terminal operations as promulgated by both U.S. and foreign governments.
• Experience working with the types of port services commonly provided to merchant ships and naval auxiliaries that can affect the ordering and scheduling of those services.
• Experience working to plan and accomplish a variety of complex work assignments to identify, analyze, and resolve marine transportation problems.
• Experience utilizing a variety of computer information systems and software programs including timeline/scheduling, word processing, spreadsheet, database and the Naval Message Format.
• Experience presenting written and oral communications sufficient to prepare and present findings on complex issues by making oral presentations before groups including senior military officers and senior civilians.
