This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.About the Position: Serves as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) support provider in the U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM). Provides appropriate on scene life support and operates ambulance. This position is located in Fort Gordon, GA.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) responding to accidents or emergencies involving injuries and/or illnesses; (2) conducting examinations to obtain patient vital signs, AND (3) operating a patient transport vehicle. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
