Description:

You will serve as a Supervisory Transportation Specialist in the Public Works Transportation Department of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD WASH.

Requirements:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Ability to supervise individuals who perform transportation work in support of the organization's fleet management program, maintenance program and operations. 2) Ability to prepare reports and brief the Chain of Command on priority issues pertaining to Transportation functions. 3) Ability to demonstrate experience and training both in theoretical and applied transportation operation and applied transportation operation, maintenance and management. 4) Ability to develop long range plans for the Transportation Division, which includes projected fluctuation in maintenance and operation workload, budget requirements, normal and surge mission requirements, manpower requirements and constraints, equipment availability/condition and availability and capability of contractor resources in the private sector. 5) Ability to direct and ensure compliance of federal and state environmental laws and regulations that are applicable to the operations of the Transportation Division. 6) Knowledge of various operating systems, including Maximo and ability to assess Transportation operational requirements.
