Description:
The position is located at Hopewell Furnace National Historical Park. You will perform carpentry, painting, and custodial duties to support facility upkeep and operations. You will occasionally assist with landscaping and grounds maintenance, as well as road and trail maintenance activities including mowing or operating tractors. You will complete repairs to doors, windows, cabinetry, and both interior and exterior trim, along with other associated carpentry and painting tasks as needed.Requirements:

- Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. (includes blueprints reading)
- Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment
- Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation Repair, etc.
- Knowledge of materials
- Technical Practices (theoretical precise, artistic)
- Use of Measuring Instruments
Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision (SCREEN OUT):
Have experience that includes independently performing the following duties: operating gasoline vehicles such as powered trucks, farm tractors, and light industrial tractors with attachments; AND caring for and maintaining lawns, trees, and/or outdoor grounds; AND minor duties in at least three of the carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, or masonry trades to construct, repair, restore buildings, fences, picnic areas, etc.; AND janitorial work.
