Description:
Serves as an Airway Transportation System Specialist (Instructor) within the Technical Operations Training Division at the FAA Academy.
Requirements:
To qualify for the position at the FG/GS 13 (FV-I) level , you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the FG/GS-12 (FV-H) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
Specialized Experience: Experience that demonstrates an extensive knowledge of and experience in the technology, system interrelationships, and management of civilian or military automated aviation, navigation, and electronics systems. Experience in the operational maintenance in one or more of the following functional areas: Navigation and Landing Systems, Communications, Terminal and EnRoute Radar, Terminal Automation, EnRoute Automation, NAS Information Services, and ARTCC and GNAS Environmental.
