This vacancy is for a GS-132-14, Supervisory Intelligence Research Specialist, located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Coast Guard (USCG), Assistant Commandant for Intelligence (CG-2), Intelligence Coordination Center (ICC), Analysis Division, Strategic Intelligence Department, Suitland, MD.Requirements:
To qualify at the GS- 14 grade level, applicants must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.

Specialized experience must include the following:
- Performing analysis and production tasks related to assigned area(s) in political, economic, social, cultural, physical, geographic, technical or military conditions for one or more foreign countries.
- Performing analysis and production tasks related to strategic competition, including the persistent and long-term interactions between relevant foreign actors pursuing their interests across the competition continuum.
- Analyzing the validity, accuracy, and reliability of information received from a wide variety of sources.
- Preparing written contributions to interagency intelligence assessments, preparing and advocating agency position on controversial or disputed issues.
- Identifying intelligence gaps, proposing collection requirements to fill gaps, and developing analytical tools and methodologies to cope with the gaps.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to appropriately address their inteligence needs and ensure that their requirements are met.
