This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.About the Position: Serves as a U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) Paramedic in the Army Emergency Medical Service (EMS). Paramedics will perform both basic and advanced life support emergency medical treatment to provide the most extensive pre- hospital care.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) responding to accidents or emergencies involving injuries and/or illnesses; (2) operating a patient transport vehicle; (3) AND providing advanced life support to patients. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
