This announcement will fill multiple permanent Assistant U.S. Attorney appointments in the Civil Division. This is an open, continuous announcement that will close no later than June 19, 2026. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with the first review no earlier than 10 business days after the date this announcement posts. Additional reviews of applications will be conducted periodically, after the initial review, until all positions are filled.Your resume cannot exceed two pages.
Requirements:
Applicants must possess a J.D. degree from an accredited law school and be an active member in good standing of the bar of a State, Territory, or the District of Columbia. The successful candidate must possess at least one (1) year of civil litigation experience that includes responsibility for discovery, trial and appeals, superior writing skills, good judgment, knowledge of civil practice and procedures, excellent communication and courtroom skills, and strong interpersonal skills. In addition, applicants must exhibit the ability to work in a supportive and professional manner with other attorneys, paralegals, support staff and client agencies. The selected candidate must be or must be willing and able to become within twelve months of appointment, an active member of the Oklahoma State Bar.Required Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a J.D. Degree, be an active member of the bar (any U.S. jurisdiction), and have at least 1 year post-J.D. legal or other relevant experience.
United States citizenship is required.
