Description:
This position is located at Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation at Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area (BLORA).As an Outdoor Recreation Assistant, you'll help guests enjoy camping, boating, hiking, and more. Duties include checking out kayaks and paddleboards, setting up areas, assisting with rentals, maintaining trails and campsites, and supporting events to ensure a safe, welcoming experience.

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.A qualified candidate must possess the following:
- Must have knowledge of and experience in a wide variety of Outdoor Recreation pursuits. Applicants pursuing a degree in Recreation Management, Outdoor Recreation, or a related field, and in the process of completing an internship or fieldwork program will be considered highly qualified.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":
- At least 6 Months experience executing multiple recreation programs.
