Bachelor¿s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or other field appropriate to the position and a minimum of 1 year related experience OR a combination of education and experience (e.g. 5-10 college courses appropriate to the position plus appropriate work experience that has provided knowledge comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of the 4-year course of study described above) PLUS three years of experience that demonstrates the ability to secure commercial sponsorship agreements and negotiate terms of a contract.
Must have familiarity with contract details, such as deliverables, terms, and financial aspects. This position requires strong communication skills to include active listening, negotiation, and persuasion. Additionally, analytical skills to understand financial elements and market conditions are required. Proven experience in planning, problem-solving, and relationship-building is required to maintain positive partnerships. Ability to interpret DoD and USMC policies concerning sponsorship agreements and contracts.
