THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR , Position Description Number PDD1297000 and is part of the WY Combined Support Maintenance Shop , Wyoming Army National Guard.

This is a Title 32 Dual Status Technician Excepted Service position. Military affiliation is required .

AREAS OF CONSIDERATION:
Consideration will be made from Areas 1, 2, 4 and 6.

Area 1: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) WY ARNG employees assigned to the CSMS.
Area 2: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) T32 Dual Status technicians employed within the Wyoming National Guard.
Area 4: All current Drill Status Airmen and M-day soldiers of the Wyoming National Guard.
Area 6 : Current military members of the US Army, Army Reserves or other states' Army National Guard units. Must be willing/eligible to join the Wyoming Army National Guard as a military member prior to appointment to position.

MILITARY GRADE
In-State Applicants:
Min: E-9/SGM, CW2, and O-3/CPT
Max: E-9/SGM, CW5, and O-4/MAJ

Out-of-State Applicants:
Min: CW2 and O-3/CPT
Max: CW4 and O-4/MAJ

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Must possess experience or training leading to an extensive knowledge of the mechanical makeup, operation, and working relationships of complex interconnecting systems, assemblies, and parts for a variety of combat, tactical, commercial, special purpose vehicles, and equipment.

AND

Experience which demonstrates the ability to plan, direct, and organize work assignments for lower grade personnel. Experience which required the review of work requirements and establish priorities to meet deadlines. Experience that provided knowledge of various lines of work performed by this function. Experience which demonstrates the ability to supervise or the potential to perform such duties as evidenced by the ability to communicate knowledge of general supervisory concepts, and knowledge of shop processes. Experience in adapting existing equipment and techniques to new situations.

Applicants must show start and end in MM/YYYY to MM/YYYY format (e.g., 02/2015 - 03/2017 or Feb 2017 - Mar 2017) dates and hours worked per week with description of your specialized experience on the resume.

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidates will be required to be in a compatible military grade and assignment prior to the effective date of placement.
