Description:

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities and Major Range and Test Facilities Base, NDAA 1125 (a) and (c). to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

About the Position: Serves as a Security Guard, GS-0085-06 with the Joint Munitions Command at Tooele Army Depot, Law Enforcement & Security Division.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.

Specialized Experience : Specialized experience is defined as one year of experience at the GS- 05 level or equivalent with a federal, state, municipal, local, or private protective organization that involved conducting patrols to identify potential hazards to property and facilities such as fire, theft, damage, accident, or trespass; and control the access of personnel and/or vehicles to the installation or facility.
