a. Position requires a diversity of knowledge and skills in performing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic repairs on equipment operated by diesel/gasoline powered engines.
b. Position also uses welding skills to weld metals and plastics, basic carpentry skills to build benches, basic painting to refurnish bikes and boats, and body work to repair fiberglass boats and skis.
c. Incumbent must use judgment to determine what items should be purchased and/or recommended for purchase.
