Description:

This position is located at Departmental Offices,Terrorism and Financial Intelligence - Office of Foreign Assets Control. As a Assistant Director - Policy, you will be responsible for implementing and administering U.S. sanctions programs, ensuring that the sanctions programs are developed, interpreted, and implemented in a manner consistent with pertinent legislation and regulations, foreign policy, national security, and U.S., Treasury, and OFAC strategic objectives.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Specialized Experience for the 15 level: To be qualified for this position at the GS-15 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level. This experience is defined as:
- Managing the formulation, interpretation, and implementation of U.S. economic sanctions (as administered by Treasury/OFAC) policy papers, guidance, and related memoranda;
- Handling multiple projects for major office or program issues of broad impact; AND
- Performing work that involves analyses, comprehensive program reviews, and development of cross-agency activities.
