You will serve as an EAF Lead Engineer in the Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Group ALRE Department of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (DP-04/GS 12-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Formulating solutions for EAF Surfacing Systems, Lighting Systems and Aircraft Arresting Systems for both Expeditionary and Shore base installations stressing reliability, maintainability, safety, quality, operational readiness and performance; 2) Providing technical leadership of engineers who are considered subject matter experts on mechanical and electrical systems, as well as civil engineering practices and designing, developing, evaluating, verifying, and fielding of EAF systems and Shorebase Arresting Gear equipment; 3) Providing engineering services and advice to fleet in support of installation, certification, performance monitoring, discrepancy resolution, modernization requirements, troubleshoot and repair, and technical documentation improvements; 4) Leading investigations and reviewing operational, test and evaluation reports and evaluating recent research findings and technical progress in related scientific and engineering areas for their application toward developing new design concepts; 5) Managing and leading projects involving multiple functional or discipline areas coordinating review and approval of technical activities within the EAF and Shorebase Arresting Gear programs.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
