You will serve as a General Engineer in the COMOPTEVFOR.Requirements:
In addition to the Basic Education Requirements (listed under Education section) for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional Engineer demonstrating work that involves designing, developing, and adapting mathematical, statistical, econometric, and other scientific methods and techniques to analyze management problems and provide advice and insight about the probable effects of alternative solutions to these problems; OR performing work to determine, evaluate, predict, and advise on effective ways for an organization to use its production factors (i.e. people, equipment, materials, information and energy) to make or process a product or provide a service. Specialized experience must include most or all of the following: 1) Planning and conducting operational test and evaluation on warfare systems; 2) Monitoring operational analysis and studies of the operational test data using statistics, operations research, scientific, mathematical, and engineering methods to evaluate the test results; 3) Resolving complex test and evaluation problems and serving as a source of expert advice on a wide range of test and evaluation issues; and 4) Validating test designs and adequacy of data collection plans to support achievement of test objectives.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
